Camden Whiddon, now five years old, was born without arms or legs. However, his condition
doesn’t deter him to live and enjoy his life like any child of his age would. Her mother Katie keeps
sharing his pictures and videos which show what an adorable and lively boy he is.
In the recent video, Camden can be seen putting a pacifier in his infant sister Dottie’s mouth and
looking after her. Watch this heartwarming video here. Like an older bro, he loves all his young
three siblings, plays with them and cares for them.
Katie was devastated when one of her pregnancy scans revealed that her child didn’t have arms
and legs. At one point, she had decided to abort her pregnancy because she didn’t want her son to
live a life of difficulty. Later, she changed her mind and went ahead to give birth to him.
Camden’s story made the headlines in 2017 when her mother posted a video of him walking for
the first time. Encouraged by his father’s gentle words “I’m right here, you won’t fall. I promise’,
the little one braved to take his first steps. Eventually, when he made it, Camden was absolutely
elated.
In her blog ‘Admirably Diverse’, Katie mentions that Camden is a typical boy in spite of his limb
difference. He talks incessantly, loves to tease his siblings, can brush his teeth/climb up
stairs/draw/paint/eat and do many things on his own.
Camden’s condition may limit his physical movements, but not his spirit. His story is an
inspiration for many!
